Job summary

Vivid Resourcing Ltd is seeking an experienced SoC Architect to lead the definition and architecture of complex System-on-Chip solutions. You will translate product requirements into scalable architectures and shape how hardware and software integrate.

Working with digital design, verification, embedded software, analogue/mixed-signal and systems teams, you will drive architectural decisions across CPUs, memory, interconnects and interfaces, ensuring solutions meet performance, power and area

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering or related field.
• Strong RTL design and digital hardware architecture.
• Experience with Verilog/SystemVerilog and synthesizable RTL.
• Proven track record in complex SoC architectures.
• Experience across full ASIC/SoC development lifecycle.
• Excellent cross-team communication.

Responsibilities

• Define and develop SoC architectures from product requirements.
• Translate functionality into hardware architectures.
• Define CPUs, accelerators, memories, peripherals, interfaces.
• Develop system-level diagrams and architectural documentation.
• Define key interfaces, data paths, clocking, and resets.
• Analyze performance, power, area trade-offs.
• Evaluate third-party and in-house IP.
• Collaborate with RTL designers to implement architectures.
• Work with verification to establish architectural coverage.
• Define hardware/software partitioning with embedded software teams.
• Support decisions through SoC lifecycle from architecture to validation.
• Identify architectural risks and drive solutions.
• Provide technical leadership to engineering teams.
