Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is seeking a Principal Scientist Pharmacometrics to co-develop and execute PK/PD modeling for compounds in development. You will author pharmacometrics documents for regulatory submissions and contribute to Agency interactions.

The role involves developing Model Informed Drug Development plans, performing day-to-day pharmacometric analyses, and coordinating with clinical pharmacology leaders and other stakeholders. Travel ~5% is anticipated.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. degree or equivalent in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacometrics, Chemical/Biomedical/Bio-Engineering or Biological Sciences, with 2+ years post-doctoral experience or MS with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of PK/PD modeling and simulation concepts and methods.
• Hands-on experience with pharmacometrics software (NONMEM, Monolix, R).
• Familiarity with regulatory submissions and MIDD concepts is important.

Responsibilities

• Conduct population PK, PD, ER analyses to inform dose regimen and development decisions.
• Write analysis plans and reports, define data requirements, perform QC checks, interpret PK/PD results.
• Work in a matrix environment to manage pharmacometrics deliverables to timelines.
• Contribute to development of new methods and applications in pharmacometrics.
