Haskoning is seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer to join our Mission Critical Facilities team in Belgium. You will lead mechanical installations for data centre projects, coordinate with electrical, civil and structural disciplines, and work with international colleagues to design and deliver technically complex solutions.

You will mentor junior engineers, drive design quality, and contribute to the Belgium hub as it grows.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline.
Several years of experience as a mechanical engineer, preferably in data centres or mission critical environments.
Experience leading and coordinating mechanical design activities within projects.

Responsabilités

Lead and coordinate the mechanical design from concept to detailed design, ensuring quality and compliance.
Coordinate with electrical, civil and structural disciplines and with international teams.
Guide junior engineers and support knowledge sharing within the team.
Identify optimization opportunities and support digitalisation in the design process.
Support execution phase and align with stakeholders to translate design into realization.
