Vinçotte seeks a Lead Contract Engineer (M/F/X) for the Nuclear Pressure Equipment Team. You will be the primary contact for customers, providing tailored advice on assessment of construction/design according to codes and standards, and supervise inspections.

• Master’s degree in Industrial Sciences – Electromechanics.
• Welding Engineer degree is a strong asset.
• Around five years of experience in maintenance/inspection of pressure equipment.
• Fluent in Dutch or French with good English knowledge (written and spoken).

Over de functie

As a Lead Contract Engineer (M/F/X), you will be the point of contact for our customers. You build a relationship of trust with the customer and provide tailored advice for the assessment of the construction/design of nuclear pressure equipment according to various construction codes and standards. You maintain regular contact with your customers and also carry out inspections yourself. You are responsible for following up projects from A to Z, from quotation and design through to actual execution and invoicing. In addition, you are also the point of contact for the inspectors on site.

Vinçotte also supports you in deepening and broadening your expertise. We start this on your very first day, as you will first receive thorough training and an internship before working independently.

Wat verwachten wij van jou?

• Degree: You have a Master’s degree in Industrial Sciences – Electromechanics. A Welding Engineer degree is a strong asset.
• Experience: You preferably have around five years of experience in the maintenance/inspection of pressure equipment.
• Skills:

  • You have a sense of quality and an eye for detail.
  • You show initiative and enjoy customer contact.
  • You work independently and in a disciplined manner.
  • You speak fluent Dutch or French and have a good knowledge of English (both written and spoken).
