AXA Belgium seeks a Senior Business Analyst to join the P&C Corporate Agreements & Financials team in Brussels. You will define business requirements, write test cases, and coordinate delivery with IT.

You will liaise with business stakeholders to provide guidance on requirement delivery and ensure proper maturity before handover to development. You will be the main BA contact for product and IT teams, supporting testing activities and contributing to a smooth transition to maintenance.

Qualifications

• Experience in gathering and challenging business requirements.
• Ability to define tests and coordinate QA with IT delivery.
• Be the functional contact within the product team and with stakeholders.

• Challenge solutions with architecture on transversal projects.
• Be the functional point of contact in the product team and with business/IT teams.
• Collect and write business requirements; challenge business demands.
• Ensure maturity of requirements before handing to development.
• Involve testing team in requirements to prepare tests or perform tests.
• Escalate delivery risks and drive defect/resolution.
• Support transition from project to maintenance by documenting applications.
• Cobol knowledge is a nice to have.

The IT P&C CorporateAgreements & Financialsteam is responsible to provide and supportmainly mainframeapplications that handlecorporate contracts

You will work asSeniorBusiness Analystin the P&C CorporateAgreements & Financialsteam where you will be fully assigned to activities related to projects & maintenance. Withyourbusiness stakeholders, your role will be to define business requirements (including test cases), follow up the ITdeliveryand test the features delivered by our development team before handing over to business.You will be the point of contact for all Business Analyst to achieve reviews but also to provide guidelines on requirement delivery.

Your role

Asseniorbusiness analyst in the P&C Corporate Agreements product team, you will be responsible to:

• Provide guidelines on requirement templating but also functional content to other Business Analyst
• Challenge solution with architecture on transversal projects
• Be functional point of contact in the product team, with product lead but also business and other IT teams
• Collect and write business requirements. Active role in requirements definition by being able to challenge business demands
• Ensure the proper maturity of the requirements before passing them to the development team
• Involve the testing team in the requirements phase to prepare the tests scenario's &/or prepare and perform tests yourself
• Escalate delivery risksin due timeand work on the resolution of defects/issues
• Support the smooth transition from application project to maintenance by documenting the application(s)
• A technical knowledge on Cobol languageis a nice to have

Your profile

For this function asSeniorBusiness Analyst, you are expected to:

• Speak fluently French and English – Dutch is an asset
• Own aMasterdegree or equivalent
• Be stress resistant and result-oriented
• Eager to learn
• Experience in the role (min 5 years)
