Are you a driven analytical scientist ready to make an impact in pharmaceutical R&D? We're recruiting on behalf of a leading global pharmaceutical innovator for a Scientist to join their Analytical Method & Stability Center (AMSC), part of a broader Analytical Development organisation supporting synthetically designed drugs across the full product lifecycle.

About the role

You'll represent AMSC on cross-functional project teams, translating project needs into laboratory activities that support analytical method development, product characterization, stability profiling, and clinical release testing. You'll work on assigned R&D programs spanning synthetic modalities including oligonucleotides, peptides, conjugates, and degraders - collaborating closely with API and Drug Product development teams.

What you'll do
  • Independently manage multiple assigned synthetic development projects, setting priorities aligned with project and team objectives
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other Analytical Development teams
  • Drive product development through fit-for-purpose stability studies and characterization techniques, backed by strong scientific data interpretation
  • Act as the technical link between drug substance/development teams and the analytical team
What you bring
  • PhD in Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Technology or related field (0-3 years' experience), OR a Master's in Chemistry/Biochemistry with 3+ years' relevant experience
  • Knowledge of stability studies (ICH stability, RIBPS, open dish stress studies)
  • Experience developing, validating and transferring analytical methods, ideally with a strong focus on Liquid Chromatography (LC/GC experience a strong plus)
  • Familiarity with synthetics (conjugates, oligonucleotides, degraders) and their associated analytical/characterization techniques
  • GMP knowledge and industry experience is an asset
  • Strong project management instincts, a proactive attitude, and excellent communication skills
  • Fluent English (spoken and written)
