The Mosa Ballet School in Liège, housed in a historic building on Place Saint-Paul, seeks a Kitchen Organizer to ensure smooth daily operations in the school kitchen. You will manage deliveries, assist with meal preparation, and maintain strict hygiene to meet food safety standards.

Under the Kitchen Manager’s supervision, you’ll store, label and monitor temperatures, support with service readiness, and keep the kitchen clean and organized.

Qualifications

• Experience in day-to-day management and organization of a kitchen.
• Energetic, versatile and able to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
• Rigorous and highly organized, with the ability to work effectively in a demanding environment.
• Nice to Have: Knowledge of HACCP standards.

Responsabilités

• Receiving deliveries and checking delivery notes for quantities and products.
• Storing food appropriately in refrigerators and freezers with proper organization.
• Assisting with meal preparation and setting up meals, including raw vegetables and salads.
• Ensuring compliance with cold chain, food hygiene and safety procedures.
• Taking and recording food temperatures as per procedures.
• Maintaining general kitchen cleanliness and readiness for service.

Created in the former regional headquartersof the National Bank of Belgium, the Mosa Ballet School comes to life in thisemblematic building located on Place Saint-Paul in the center of Liège(Belgium). In total, more than 10,000 m² of infrastructure have been radicallytransformed into educational, cultural and sporting spaces in order to offeryoung dancers and teaching staff a living and working environment that makesthem want to excel every day.

THE FUNCTION

As aKitchen Organizer, you will contribute to the smooth and efficient running ofthe kitchen by ensuring the proper organization of deliveries, foodpreparation, storage and hygiene procedures. You will work in accordance withfood safety regulations and established procedures to ensure a safe, clean andwell-organized kitchen environment.

Under the supervision of the Kitchen Manager, your main tasks are as follows:

• Receiving deliveries andchecking the corresponding delivery notes to ensure that quantities andproducts are correct.
• Storing food productsappropriately in refrigerators and freezers, while ensuring proper organizationand compliance with storage requirements.
• Assisting with mealpreparation and setting up meals, including the preparation of raw vegetablesand salads.
• Ensuring compliance with thecold chain, AFSCA requirements and established food hygiene and safetyprocedures.
• Taking and recording foodtemperatures in accordance with the applicable procedures.
• Contributing to the general upkeep andorganization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, cleaning anddisinfecting premises, equipment and work surfaces, and ensuring that thekitchen is kept clean, orderly and ready for service.

Must Have

• Experience in the day-to-day management and organization of a kitchen is preferred.

• A flexi-job contract of 25 hours per week, with 4 hours worked per day from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm
