Krunch in Gent is seeking a flexible, part-time kitchen assistant who loves preparing breakfast and lunch with care, and bringing that little something extra to every plate. You will handle mise en place, assist with orders, and lend a hand with our homemade cakes and desserts.

The role emphasizes a friendly team, no evening shifts, and shifts mainly from 8 AM to 4 PM. Previous kitchen experience is required, and you enjoy working in a busy brunch environment with high-quality ingredients.

• Prepare breakfast and lunch dishes as if you were cooking for your best friends.
• Take care of the mise en place to ensure a smooth service.
• Help keep track of orders and check deliveries.
• Lend a hand with making our homemade cakes and desserts.
• Keep the kitchen clean and hygienic (HACCP standards don’t scare you!).
• Work together with a fun team to make Krunch shine every day!

Who are you?

• A food enthusiast with a great sense of flavour and attention to detail.
• Someone with experience in a professional kitchen — or a natural talent eager to learn.
• Organised, calm under pressure and hands-on (brunch rush? You’ve got this!).
• A foodie who loves fresh, high-quality ingredients.
• Previous kitchen experience is required.
