CMB.TECH is seeking a Junior Treasurer in Belgium to support its Treasury team. You will process payments, record receipts in Oracle NetSuite, and reconcile cash positions while monitoring financing and derivative products.

You’ll generate reporting, manage FX activities, and maintain rolling six‑month forecasts with the CFO’s team. We require a bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics and 1–2 years of relevant experience.

To support our Treasury team, we are currently looking for a highly motivated and dynamic Junior Treasurer.

What are we looking for?

• Processing payment proposals via Isabel.

• Recording receipts in Oracle NetSuite (accounting application).

• Reconciling financial transactions, payments and receipts in the cash management system, in line with the daily cash position.

• Generating accounting data for the quarterly close relating to loans, investments, commercial paper, etc.

• Monitoring and processing financing and derivative products in the cash management system.

• Executing foreign exchange transactions via various banks.

• Managing the commercial paper programme.

• Arranging financing and setting interest periods.

• Monitoring and maintaining all current accounts between parent and subsidiary companies, including quarterly interest calculations.

• Acting as the point of contact for the banks regarding the management of bank accounts and operational queries about payment transactions.

• Generating and analysing financial reports for the benefit of financial management.

• Responding promptly and accurately to ad hoc queries from financial management and the CFO.

• Updating a rolling cash forecast for the coming six months on a weekly basis.

• Assist with the maintenance of the cash management system, including reporting and master data.

• Acting as a point of contact between the various departments for cash management-related matters.

What do you bring?

• Formal education: you hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics or a related field;

• You are at the start of your career or already have 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience;

• Languages: you are fluent in Dutch and English (both spoken and written);

• You are IT-savvy and quickly find your way around new systems;

• You are able to maintain an overview and see the bigger picture;

• You are extremely discreet;

• You are a team player, but also work well independently and are keen to take responsibility and initiative;

• You are characterised by your organisational skills, punctuality, ability to work under pressure and strong analytical skills;

• Targeted training will be provided within the Treasury team.
