Job summary

BDO Belgium is seeking a junior member for its International Mobility Services team in Ghent. You will support HR and finance on cross-border tax and legal matters, after a training period, and grow through client exposure and internal development programs.

The role offers a pathways to specialise in expatriate tax, international assignments, and compliance, with a focus on growth, training, and flexible work options including home-based arrangements.

Qualifications

• Graduate this year or have 1–2 years of experience.
• Fluent in Dutch and/or French and English.
• Strong, dynamic personality with pragmatic approach.
• Commercial mindset and quality oriented.

Responsibilities

• Provide confidential advice to HR and finance on tax and legal aspects of policies.
• Advise on structures for simultaneous employment across countries (salary splits).
• Advise on Belgian expat tax regime and related topics (social security, labour law).
• Support annual compliance processes (tax returns, payroll calculations).
• Advise on stock options and share plans implementation.
