NVISO is hiring a (Junior) Security Operations Engineering Consultant based in Belgium to support SOC projects in Charleroi / Namur. You will onboard log sources, design detection rules, and contribute to incident response while collaborating with customers and vendors.

With a focus on learning and growth, you will work under senior guidance to implement security solutions across diverse sectors, leveraging Azure Sentinel, Elastic, Splunk, and LogPoint within the Microsoft stack.

Qualifications

• Citizenship in one of the NATO member states (32).
• Early-career experience in a SOC/ cybersecurity or IT role is mandatory.
• Familiarity with SIEM query languages or Sigma/YARA rules is a plus.
• Cybersecurity coursework or related studies are beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Plan and manage onboarding of new log sources with clients and vendors.
• Create technical and process playbooks for SOC operations.
• Define and set up correlation rules based on threat intel and customer needs.
• Contribute to incident response procedures.
• Stay up-to-date with SOC trends and technologies.
