JoBBsquare Belgie is seeking an Information Security Engineer to join the IT Security team in a role focused on operational cybersecurity, vulnerability management, security monitoring, incident response support, and continuous improvement of security controls. The position participates in ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and NIS2 compliance initiatives with a target of 2027.

The role is hybrid in Belgium, combining hands-on technical work with coordination across teams, and involves ensuring audit-ready

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, security operations, or related roles.
• Experience in security monitoring, incident handling, or vulnerability management.
• Experience with security tools and operational security processes.

Responsabilités

• Monitor and investigate security alerts across multiple platforms.
• Support incident response activities and coordinate investigations.
• Coordinate vulnerability scanning and remediation follow-up.
• Produce auditable evidence of security control operations.
