Job Description

We are looking for a skilled communicator to join our team as a journalist. You will be working with the head editor to strengthen the Dutch-speaking editorial team of Architectura.

Your responsibilities will include writing articles based on press releases, interviews, or research, covering various themes within architecture and construction. You will also be translating technical input into clear, well-crafted texts for a critical, professional audience.

The focus is on text, but there is also the possibility to work on video, podcast, social media, or other formats.

Requirements

• Bachelor or master's degree in journalism, communication, linguistics, or a related field
• Ability to write flawlessly, clearly, and with style
• Self-motivated and able to work independently, with good organizational skills
• Able to think critically and contribute to the team
• Proficient in Word and Excel
• Experience with content management systems is a plus, but not required
• Knowledge of the construction sector is not necessary, but useful
• Fluent in Dutch, with French as an additional language being an advantage
• Valid driver's license
