Siemens Energy in Belgium is seeking a Junior Project Manager within Grid Technologies to coordinate technical activities and engage with customers. You will manage projects related to AIS, GIS and Power Transformers, collaborating with senior PMs, engineering teams and suppliers to deliver value.

You will develop your project management skills while contributing to high-impact infrastructure that supports a reliable, sustainable energy future and the energy transition.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a technical field (Electrical, Energy, Automation, ICT or Mechanical).
• Initial project management experience is advantageous.
• Interest in electrical infrastructure such as substations, switchgear or transformers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English, Dutch and French.
• Written and spoken proficiency in multiple languages is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate projects in line with Siemens Energy PM guidelines and governance.
• Support project execution from initiation to completion and handover.
• Act as primary contact for customers on project activities and communications.
• Monitor progress, planning, milestones and KPIs to meet targets.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, factories, suppliers and partners ensuring Zero Harm.

Imagine stepping into a role where you coordinate technical activities and engage with customers to drive projects that support the energy transition. You will manage projects related to Air Insulated Switchgear (AIS), Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS), and Power Transformers (TFO), collaborating closely with experienced project managers, engineering teams, and suppliers. How You’ll Make an Impact

• You will manage assigned projects in line with Siemens Energy project management guidelines and governance requirements.
• Support the successful execution of projects from initiation through to completion and handover.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding project activities, ensuring effective communication.
• Monitor project progress, planning, milestones, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure targets are met.
• Coordinate project activities with engineering teams, factories, suppliers, and external partners while promoting a strong Zero Harm culture.

Profile

What You Bring

• A Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Automation, ICT, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Initial professional experience in project management, project coordination, or engineering is advantageous.
• A strong interest in electrical infrastructure, substations, switchgear, transformers, or power transmission systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Fluent English, Dutch, and French (written and spoken); knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
