Job summary

Clayton of Belgium NV is looking for a Junior IT - System Engineer to strengthen the on-site IT department in Bornem. You will support users, maintain the Microsoft 365 environment and contribute to digital transformation projects across the company.

The role focuses on M365 administration, device support, training materials, and participation in SharePoint and D365 F&O projects, with collaboration from IT consultants and infrastructure partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or master in IT or equivalent through experience.
• Minimum 2 years of IT - System experience.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 (Entra ID, Exchange, Defender, SharePoint, OneDrive).
• Basic understanding of network fundamentals.
• Interest in Business Applications such as Dynamics 365 F&O.
• Strong troubleshooting, prioritization and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• M365 Administration: manage Entra ID, Exchange Online mailboxes, Defender policies, SharePoint/OneDrive configurations.
• Devices & Workplace Support: setup Windows devices, troubleshoot laptops/tablets/printers, maintain asset records.
• Training & User Support: assist with software/hardware issues; create guides and documentation for Dynamics 365 and other systems.
• Project Participation: participate in IT projects like SharePoint and D365 F&O implementations and infrastructure projects.
• Infrastructure Monitoring: monitor network stability, performance, and availability; coordinate with partners.
• Continuous improvement: document recurring issues and best practices; suggest process improvements.
• Collaboration with Infrastructure providers: coordinate escalation and follow-ups with external support.

We are looking for a motivated on-site Junior IT - System Engineer to strengthen our IT department. In this role, you will support our users, maintain our Microsoft 365 environment, and contribute to various digital transformation projects across the company.

Core Responsibilities:

M365 Administration :

• Manage user identities in Entra ID (Azure AD)
• Manage Microsoft Exchange Online mailboxes and distribution groups
• Monitor and manage email security, message flows, and policies in Microsoft Defender
• Manage SharePoint and OneDrive configuration and permissions

Devices & Workplace Support :

• Install, configure, and manage Windows devices (preferably using Microsoft Intune)
• Troubleshoot issues related to laptops, tablets, printers.
• Maintain the IT asset inventory records
• Escalate issues and coordinate with IT Consultant partner when needed

Training and User Support :

• Provide support for software, hardware, and system-related issues
• Create user guides, training materials, and documentation for Dynamics 365 and other business systems

Project Participation :

• Take part in IT projects such as Sharepoint Implementation, D365 F&O Implementation and Infrastructure projects

Infrastructure Monitoring :

• Monitor network stability, system performance, and application availability
• Escalate issues and coordinate with infrastructure partners when needed

Continuous improvement :

• Document recurring issues and best practices for the IT knowledge base
• Suggest improvements to processes, configurations, and user experience

  Collaboration with Infrastructure providers:

  • Coordinate ticket escalation and follow-up when external support is required

  Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master in IT or equivalent through experience
  • You have Minimum 2 years of experience in IT - System
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 platform (Entra ID, Exchange, Defender, Sharepoint and OneDrive)
  • Basic understanding of network fundamentals.
  • Interest in Business Application (such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O)
  • Strong troubleshooting, prioritization, and communication skills.
  • Enthusiastic about technology, learning, and helping others
  • Strong research and self-learning skills
  • Advanced level of Dutch Or English and French is a plus
