EY Consulting is a fast-moving, high-growth area within EY, offering the chance to work on risk, assurance, and transformation projects across many industries. As a Junior Consultant, you will support clients to identify and manage risks with a focus on sustainability and AI, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.

You will develop skills in internal auditing, ERM, and digital risk projects while gaining exposure to diverse industries and international environments.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Economics or an Engineering degree with business management aspects.
• Dutch fluency and English proficiency; French is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint; experience with ACL and Power BI is a plus.
• Solid analytical and quantitative skills; ability to work autonomously.
• Willing to travel abroad up to 20%.
• Thrive in a fast-paced, multi-industry, multinational environment.
• Strong affinity with AI and interest in applying AI trends.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and manage risks with focus on sustainability and AI.
• Prepare, execute and report Internal Audits by reviewing internal controls.
• Develop Risk Based Internal Audit Plans.
• Develop or improve ERM and TPRM frameworks and perform risk assessments.

Your tasks and responsibilities will include the following:

• The identification, evaluation and management of risks with an increased focus on sustainability and AI
• The preparation, execution and reporting of Internal Audits by reviewing the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls (using data analytics) and developing recommendations to improve effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls.
• The development of Risk Based Internal Audit Plans.
• The development or improvement of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) frameworks, including the set-up and preparation, execution and reporting of risk assessments.
• The implementation of Internal Control environments (e.g. COSO, SOX and JSOX).
• The review of compliance management frameworks and how they help being compliant to regulatory requirements
• Support on Digital Risk projects

Qualifications

• You have a Master’s Degree in, Economics or an Engineering degree if including strong Business Management aspects;
• Due to the international and multinational context, you speak Dutch fluently and you are proficient in English. French is considered as a plus;
• You demonstrate proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint. Experience with data extraction and visualization tools, such as ACL and Power BI, is considered a plus.
• You have solid analytical & quantitative skills and you can work autonomously;
• You are willing and flexible to travel abroad up to 20% of your time;
• You have to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-industry, multinational environment;
• Strong affinity with AI and genuine interest in applying new AI trends in a professional context.
