Keystone Solutions is seeking a Junior Developer for an on-site consultancy mission at a client site in Brussels. You will participate in the design and development of Java backend and Angular frontend components, following Clean Code and QA practices.

The role involves refactoring, testing, and collaboration within SCRUM ceremonies. Requirements include Angular 21, Java, REST/OpenAPI, SCRUM, and experience with DB2/MySQL.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Angular 21 and Material UI.
• Experience with Java backend and Spring Boot stack.
• Knowledge of databases (DB2, MySQL) and REST/OpenAPI services.
• Familiarity with CI/CD (Docker) and DB migrations (Flyway).

Mission Overview

Keystone Solutions is seeking Junior Developers to join a consultancy mission at a client site. You will be involved in various projects related to the digital transformation of the Office of Birth and Childhood (ONE). This role emphasizes on-site work, allowing you to engage directly with client teams and contribute to impactful solutions.

Responsibilities

As a Junior Developer, you will carry out the following responsibilities under Keystone Solutions' consultancy model:

• Participate in the technical design of features in collaboration with functional analysts, technical leads, and team members.


• Design application components while adhering to the defined architecture and technical standards.


• Apply best development practices, including Clean Code and quality assurance.


• Identify technical impacts and dependencies with existing components.


• Develop and enhance application modules and components.


• Participate in the development of Backend Java and Frontend Angular components.


• Ensure quality standards are met through unit and integration testing.


• Correct anomalies and implement functional and technical enhancements.


• Engage in refactoring and improving existing code for better readability, maintainability, and performance.


• Participate in code reviews with other developers.


• Assist in the preparation and delivery of developments across different environments.


• Validate deployment and delivery of solutions.


• Adhere to defined delivery processes and standards.


• Follow methodological and technological standards set by the client.


• Ensure comprehensive unit and integration testing coverage.


• Contribute to continuous improvement of development practices.


• Collaborate daily with developers, functional analysts, testers, and other project stakeholders.


• Participate in various SCRUM ceremonies.


• Document developments as necessary and share useful knowledge within the team.

Work Environment

This mission operates in an Agile/SCRUM environment, utilizing a service-oriented architecture primarily based on Java and Angular technologies. The tech stack includes Angular 21, JAVA8/JEE7, Java 21, Spring Boot, NgRx, DB2, MySQL, and Flyway, with build tools such as Apache Maven, Git/GitLab CI/CD, and Nexus.
