Freshfields advises clients in Brussels on a wide range of corporate and finance matters. You will draft and negotiate corporate/M&A contracts and capital markets documentation, and manage transactions and due diligences.

You will develop client relationships, participate in business development activities, and mentor junior lawyers in a global network focused on delivering high-quality, cross-border advisory services.

Qualifications

• Belgian law degree with first-class academic records; post-graduate degree is an asset.
• Creative, curious and rigorous approach to legal work.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to take on responsibility.
• Ability to work in English, Dutch and French.

• Managing transactions and performing legal due diligences;

• Training/managing junior team members.

Qualifications

We are seeking ambitious and highly motivated lawyers with first rate technical and commercial abilities driven to do high quality work. In addition to your Belgian law degree (with first-class academic records), a post-graduate degree is an asset. You are creative, curious and rigorous, have excellent communication skills and are able to take on a high degree of responsibility. You are also proactive and committed to providing an excellent service to clients. You can work in English, Dutch and French.
