Monard Law in Brussels is seeking a (Junior) Associate in Banking & Finance to join its energetic team. You will work on banking and finance matters for clients, combining legal expertise with a pragmatic, solution‑oriented approach.

The ideal candidate has a Belgian Master’s in Law and 2–6 years in Banking & Finance, fluent Dutch and strong French and English; you will take ownership of files early and grow with experienced colleagues.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Law from a Belgian university, with distinction preferred.
• 2–6 years of relevant experience in Banking & Finance law; applicants with slightly less experience are considered.

Responsabilités

• Advise clients on a broad range of banking and finance matters.
• Handle matters from inception to resolution with significant responsibility.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts and financial agreements.
• Stay updated with banking legislation and regulations.
• Develop long-term client relationships and contribute to practice growth.
