Job Description
We are seeking a Java Technical Lead who is fluent in Java and experienced in developing, testing, and maintaining Java applications. You should write clean, efficient code and collaborate effectively with cross-departmental teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Your expertise with frameworks like Spring and Hibernate, and tools such as Maven, will be essential in navigating databases, version control systems like Git, and adopting agile methodologies. Your problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and adaptability to evolving technologies will enable you to debug, resolve issues, and contribute to innovative projects at Sopra Steria.

You will lead the design, coding, testing, and troubleshooting of functionalities, optimize performance, and maintain technical documentation. As a mentor, you will train and coach team members, align IT systems with project goals, and communicate effectively with stakeholders and management to foster organization-wide collaboration.

Qualifications
We are looking for passionate professionals eager to push the boundaries of digital transformation and technology consulting. Ideal candidates will possess:

• Proficiency in Java, Spring Core, Spring Boot, Angular, React, and related technologies
• Experience with cloud-native development, microservices, NoSQL, single-page applications, reactive programming, DDD, TDD, DevOps, Agile, Scrum
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a relevant field
• Fluent English; French and/or Dutch is a plus
