Job Description

As a Java Developer, you will develop, test, and maintain applications written in Java. Your code should be clean and efficient, and you will collaborate with cross-departmental teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. You will use frameworks like Spring and Hibernate, tools like Maven, and navigate databases, version control systems (like Git), and agile methodologies. Your problem-solving skills and attention to detail will be crucial in debugging, resolving issues, and adapting to evolving project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain Java applications
• Collaborate with teams to deliver software solutions
• Use Java frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate
• Navigate databases and version control systems
• Debug and resolve technical issues
• Document technical specifications and solutions
• Stay updated with the latest technology trends

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Java
• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Cloud
• Knowledge of testing (unit, integration, acceptance)
• Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
• Understanding of DevOps practices
• Familiarity with Scrum and Kanban methodologies
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Languages: English required; French and/or Dutch preferred
