Job summary

Atlas Copco Group in Wilrijk seeks an analytical Java developer to design, develop, deploy, and support global manufacturing applications (WMS/APS/PLE). You will own the full lifecycle, build new features, modernize legacy systems, and deploy to VMs or Azure cloud environments.

You will report to the application development team leader and work in a hybrid model at our Wilrijk facility, collaborating with international IT teams and business users.

Qualifications

• Requires Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent ICT/Software Engineering field.
• Proven professional experience in Java development across full lifecycle.
• Fluency in Dutch and English for collaboration with local/global teams.
• Experience or strong interest in cloud services, deployments, and monitoring in Microsoft Azure.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy and support software solutions (WMS/APS/PLE) used globally.
• Own full application lifecycle from requirements to release.
• Build new features and modernize legacy systems for manufacturing operations.
• Deploy applications to virtual machines or Microsoft Azure cloud environments and validate releases.
• Collaborate with Business Process Organization, key users, and international IT teams; maintain documentation.
