OneSource Consulting in Belgium is seeking a Java developer to join the Itinera team in Charleroi on a hybrid basis. You will work across the full application lifecycle, focusing on robust backend and smooth user experiences, with a mix of on-site and remote days.

The role emphasizes Java 21+ and Spring Boot, REST APIs, and CI/CD in an OpenShift environment, collaborating closely with business analysts to translate family allowances legislation into solid technical solutions.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop features in Java 21+ and Spring Boot.
• Build modern interfaces under Angular while maintaining JSF heritage.
• Ensure software quality with unit/integration tests and peer reviews.
• Persist data with Hibernate and optimize queries for performance.
• Design and expose secure REST APIs.
• Participate in CI/CD within OpenShift.
• Translate family allowances legislation into technical solutions with analysts.
• Automate development processes via CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins, Renovate).
• Ensure code quality with SonarQube.
• Propose modernization of the tech stack to improve performance.

Job Description:

We are looking for a JAVA developer.

• As part of the Itinera team, you will actively participate in the evolution of our Child Benefit Management Platform. You will be involved in the entire application lifecycle: from technical design to production, with a particular focus on the robustness of the backend and the fluidity of the user experience.

Hybrid remote/face-to-face work in Charleroi is mandatory.

Main

missions Development & Quality Code

• Design and develop complex features in Java 21+ and Spring Boot.
• Build modern and responsive interfaces under Angular (while maintaining the JSF heritage).
• Ensure software quality through the writing of unit/integration tests and the practice of peer-to-peer code review.
• Ensure data persistence through Hibernate and optimize queries to ensure Itinera performance.
• Participate in the design and exhibition of secure and scalable REST APIs.
• Intervene on continuous integration and deployment within our OpenShift environment.
• Work closely with business analysts to translate legislative needs (Family Allowances) into elegant technical solutions.
• Contribute to the automation of development processes via our CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins, Renovate).
• Ensure code compliance through SonarQube.
• Be a source of proposals to modernize the technical stack and optimize application performance.
