Inetum Belgium is seeking a Senior Java Developer to work on large-scale digital transformation projects. You will design, develop and maintain enterprise Java applications, with emphasis on backend services, Spring Boot, microservices, and REST APIs.

You will collaborate with architects, analysts and business stakeholders in a fast-paced, agile environment. You will contribute to cloud-native architectures on Azure/AWS, support junior developers, and help maintain coding standards and DevOps

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Java Development and backend/full-stack development.
• Able to design, develop and maintain enterprise-scale software solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in Agile environments.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

As a Medior - Senior Java Developer, you will:

• Develop, maintain and improve enterprise-grade Java applications.
• Design and implement scalable backend solutions using Java and the Spring ecosystem.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integration services.
• Contribute to microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts and development teams on complex cross-project initiatives.
• Participate actively in Agile and Scrum ceremonies.
• Identify opportunities for technical improvements and software optimization.
• Take ownership of software quality through unit testing, integration testing and code reviews.
• Ensure the delivery of well-designed, maintainable, testable and efficient code.
• Support and coach junior developers when needed.
• Contribute to development standards, best practices and technical documentation.

Qualifications

Required

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Java Development, with expertise in backend and/or full stack application development.
• Proven experience designing, developing and maintaining enterprise-scale software solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
