Job summary

Mobilunity in Belgium is seeking a senior Java Developer to join our client’s rapidly growing HR tech team. You will design and implement scalable backend services using Java and Spring, build RESTful APIs, and contribute to architecture decisions.

Responsibilities include database design with PostgreSQL/Aurora, implementing microservices, ensuring code quality with tests and reviews, and collaborating daily with the team to push features from idea to production.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Java and Spring (Boot, Security, Core, JPA).
• Clean architecture, distributed system design and microservices architecture.
• Experience with Spring Framework.
• Experience working with PostgreSQL databases (preferably Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL).
• Confident level of English (at least upper-intermediate to handle all communications).

• Design and implement well-structured, testable, and efficient back-end code (Java, Spring)
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrations for web and mobile applications

Our Client is a rapidly growing HR Tech company in Belgium. The company provides Search & Selection services to connect talent with companies and offers Digital Payroll solutions that support clients working with flexible employment models.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute ideas and actively participate in the innovation and product improvement process
• Design and implement well-structured, testable, and efficient back-end code (Java, Spring)
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrations for web and mobile applications
• Design, optimize, and maintain PostgreSQL databases (Aurora on AWS)
