Jobtailor in Belgium seeks an experienced Java CMS developer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of high-performing web solutions on Jahia CMS (versions 7/8). You will analyze requirements, translate business needs into technical features, and collaborate with project managers and functional teams.

The ideal candidate has mid-to-senior Java/JEE experience, strong Spring and Hibernate skills, and fluency in French with good English (B2).

Qualifications

• Mid-level or Senior experience in Java / CMS development.
• Proven, successful experience with the Jahia CMS, including integration, module development, and administration.
• Proficiency in Java/JEE, Spring, Hibernate, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and Web Services.

Responsabilités

• Lead strategic digital projects for a major public institution.
• Design, develop, and maintain high-performing, scalable web solutions on the Jahia CMS (versions 7/8).
• Develop and integrate custom modules using Java/JEE, Spring, and Hibernate.
• Analyze, design, and optimize application architectures and REST/SOAP web services.
• Collaborate with project managers and functional teams to translate business needs into technical features.
• Contribute to code quality, technical reviews, testing, and quality assurance.
• Monitor technology trends and share best practices with the Smile community.
