Ageas is seeking a SOC and BCM Expert to lead SOC activities for the Corporate Center and support Group IT security initiatives. You will implement and maintain security processes, coordinate with other entities, and drive business continuity management across the group in Brussels.

The role requires a Master in computer science or cybersecurity with 5+ years in SOC/BCM, and strong English communication. A flexible hybrid work arrangement is offered within Belgium.

• Master's degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH, CBCI, CBCP, ISO 22301) are an advantage.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Fully autonomous in organizing and prioritizing own work.

Responsabilités

• Run and follow up SOC for Corporate Center and support other Opco’s SOC activities.
• Execute BCM activities for Corporate Center and Group level.
• Develop, maintain and drive the group information security framework.
• Support IT security projects and risk assessments across Ageas.

The vibrant Ageas Corporate Centre in Brussels is home to a variety of Group level functions including, amongst others, Risk, Finance, Legal & Compliance, Investor Relations, Human Resources, Strategy, Business Development and Corporate Communications. It sets out the long term strategy for Ageas and coordinates numerous initiatives across the Group to help realise the strategic ambitions. The Corporate Centre also facilitates knowledge and skills sharing amongst its local operating entities and JV’s, creating strong connections and leveraging on local strengths. It represents the Ageas Group towards external parties, managing relations with analysts, retail and institutional investors, regulators, rating agencies and the media.

The department

Activities covered by the team of Group Technology Development and Group Purchasing are Corporate Center IT coordination & operations, Group Applied Tech, Data & AI, Data Management, Group Procurement and Group Synergies Creation Initiatives.

The department is in charge of managing the IT of the Corporate Center - the Ageas Group headquarters - and developing group initiatives. These Group initiatives include 14 countries where Ageas is active and are twofold: delivering group assets developed once and reused across Group companies to create synergies, and ensuring IT risks are adequately managed across the Group.

The IT Security department is responsible for protecting information systems and data by ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability, while preventing unauthorized access, breaches, and disruptions. It has an operational responsibility for Corporate Center but also supports and oversees Group IT security activities and runs BC-activities for Corporate Center.

To strengthen the team, we are looking for a SOC and BC Expert.

The function

The Expert will independently run and follow up SOC for Corporate Center and support the other Opco’s in their SOC activities as well as executing BC-activities for Corporate Center. Furthermore, the SOC and BC Expert supports the team in developing, maintaining and driving the implementation of the group framework for information security, with a focus on IT security. The Group SOC and BCM expert's main responsibilities include among others:

SOC Corporate Center

• Day to day follow up on threat operations and incident response when required, including analysis, design and follow up on use-cases
• Metrics and performance tracking
• Participation in Monthly QA meetings
• Collaboration activities

SOC Group

• Coordinate with other entities and with the SOC provider

Oversee and execute the BCM activities at Corporate center including yearly

• Review BCM risk assessment
• Performing companywide BIA
• Updating, testing our crisis and communication plans
• Organisation awareness and participation in governance

Participation in Group IT Security projects and supporting the team, such as:

• Security Activities Oversight: Oversee security activities such as access control, incident management, alerting, response, forensics, and reporting at the Corporate Center.
• Risk Assessment Validation: Validate Ageas Corporate Center projects and solutions from an IT security perspective through Business Risk Assessments.

Your profile

• Master in computer science, Cybersecurity, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in SOC and / or BCM
• Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH, CBCI, CBCP, ISO 22301) are an advantage
• Proven track record in security operations and project implementation
• Up-to-date understanding of cybersecurity trends and technologies
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Fully autonomous in organizing and prioritizing own work
• Excellent English oral and written communication skills
