Ageas is seeking a SOC and BCM Expert to lead SOC activities for the Corporate Center and support Group IT security initiatives. You will implement and maintain security processes, coordinate with other entities, and drive business continuity management across the group in Brussels.
The role requires a Master in computer science or cybersecurity with 5+ years in SOC/BCM, and strong English communication. A flexible hybrid work arrangement is offered within Belgium.

The vibrant Ageas Corporate Centre in Brussels is home to a variety of Group level functions including, amongst others, Risk, Finance, Legal & Compliance, Investor Relations, Human Resources, Strategy, Business Development and Corporate Communications. It sets out the long term strategy for Ageas and coordinates numerous initiatives across the Group to help realise the strategic ambitions. The Corporate Centre also facilitates knowledge and skills sharing amongst its local operating entities and JV’s, creating strong connections and leveraging on local strengths. It represents the Ageas Group towards external parties, managing relations with analysts, retail and institutional investors, regulators, rating agencies and the media.
Activities covered by the team of Group Technology Development and Group Purchasing are Corporate Center IT coordination & operations, Group Applied Tech, Data & AI, Data Management, Group Procurement and Group Synergies Creation Initiatives.
The department is in charge of managing the IT of the Corporate Center - the Ageas Group headquarters - and developing group initiatives. These Group initiatives include 14 countries where Ageas is active and are twofold: delivering group assets developed once and reused across Group companies to create synergies, and ensuring IT risks are adequately managed across the Group.
The IT Security department is responsible for protecting information systems and data by ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability, while preventing unauthorized access, breaches, and disruptions. It has an operational responsibility for Corporate Center but also supports and oversees Group IT security activities and runs BC-activities for Corporate Center.
To strengthen the team, we are looking for a SOC and BC Expert.
The Expert will independently run and follow up SOC for Corporate Center and support the other Opco’s in their SOC activities as well as executing BC-activities for Corporate Center. Furthermore, the SOC and BC Expert supports the team in developing, maintaining and driving the implementation of the group framework for information security, with a focus on IT security.
