Methis Consulting Belgium is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead end-to-end IT projects in the utilities sector. You will bridge business requirements with technical implementation, guiding cross-functional teams, vendors and clients to deliver on time and within budget.

HQ in Antwerp with a hybrid work model (2–3 days on client site, remainder from home). The role demands strong analytical and stakeholder management skills, with expertise in agile and traditional PM methodologies

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a business economics, business engineering or technology-oriented field (ICT, business analytics, engineering, computer science)
• 3–7+ years experience managing IT projects in the utilities, energy, or infrastructure sectors
• Strong understanding of utility business processes and systems (e.g., GIS, SCADA, SAP IS-U, AMI, outage management)
• Proven success in delivering IT upgrades, digital platforms, or enterprise applications
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Proficiency with project methodologies: Agile, PRINCE2, or PMI/PMP
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Experience with JIRA or Azure Devops
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, asset management systems, or smart grid technology is a nice to have
• Mother tongue French or Dutch and can express yourself in the other language. Your English is professional.

Responsabilités

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of IT projects across the utilities domain (energy, water, gas, grid operations, etc.).
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with strategic goals.
• Manage cross-functional teams, vendors, and external partners to ensure project milestones and budgets are met.
• Oversee project documentation, risk management, and status reporting.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, data governance, and cybersecurity standards.
• Drive continuous improvement through post-implementation reviews and process optimization.
