HumanInTech in Charleroi is seeking an IT project manager to lead the extension of a course management platform, coordinating with a small team to deliver new features such as dashboards, scheduling, and an integrated messaging system. You will analyse requirements, design, develop extensions, and guide testing, optimisation and integration.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience, Bachelor’s degree or higher, and active knowledge of French.

What you will do

You will lead the extension of an existing course management platform built in C# with PostgreSQL. The platform serves teachers and students, and your mission is to coordinate the development of new features that improve course management, student engagement and teaching tools.

Your responsibilities include:

• Coordinating with the existing maintenance team and educational stakeholders
• Planning the integration of new functionalities into the live platform
• Managing risks related to modifying an educational platform in production
• Tracking progress and reporting to the organisation's administrators

The new features to be implemented are:

• Student progress tracking system with personalised dashboards
• Advanced course and session scheduling functionality
• Integrated communication system (messaging, discussion forum)
• RESTful API for integration with other educational tools

You will guide the project through analysis of the existing system and gathering educational requirements, design of new features, development of extensions, and testing, optimisation and integration.

What we are looking for

• Confirmed experience in IT project management
• Active knowledge of French
• Familiarity with the technical environment: C#, .NET framework, PostgreSQL, Entity Framework Core, ASP.NET Core (MVC or Blazor), ASP.NET Core Web API
• Experience with project management tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira
• Understanding of security and confidentiality standards for educational data
• Ability to ensure accessibility and responsive design in user interfaces

You will work closely with an analyst and a developer as part of a three-person team.

The setting

This assignment runs from November 2026 to the end of December 2027, part-time at 3/5. The role is based in Charleroi with hybrid working arrangements. French is the working language.
