HumanInTech is seeking a part-time freelance or employed business analyst to extend a classroom management platform. Based in Charleroi, you will work in a hybrid setup from November 2026 to December 2027 (14 months), guiding feature design, specifications, and integration with a small team.

You should have 3–5 years of BA experience, strong C# and PostgreSQL knowledge, ORM familiarity, and good French language skills to collaborate with the educational client.

What you will do

You will work on extending an existing course management platform developed in C# with PostgreSQL. The goal is to add new features that improve course management, student engagement and the tools available to teachers.

Your responsibilities include:

• Analysing the existing architecture and identifying specific needs in the educational domain


• Designing new features in line with pedagogical practices


• Preparing technical specifications for the extensions


• Collaborating closely with a project manager and a developer on the same assignment

The new features to be implemented include:

• A student progress tracking system with personalised dashboards


• Advanced course and session planning functionality


• An integrated communication system (messaging, discussion forum)


• A RESTful API for integration with other educational tools

The key stages are: analysis of the existing system and gathering educational requirements, designing the new features, development of the extensions, and testing, optimisation and integration.

What we are looking for

• Confirmed experience as a business analyst


• Confirmed knowledge of C#


• Confirmed experience with ORM (Object-Relational Mapping)


• Confirmed experience with PostgreSQL


• Confirmed knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies


• Junior-level experience with JIRA


• Active knowledge of French

The setting

This assignment runs from November 2026 to the end of December 2027 (14 months) and is part-time at 3/5. The work is hybrid, based in Charleroi.

The technology stack includes C#, .NET, PostgreSQL, Entity Framework Core, ASP.NET Core (MVC or Blazor), ASP.NET Core Web API, and testing with NUnit or xUnit. Project management is handled through Azure DevOps or JIRA.

You will be part of a three-person team (project manager, analyst, developer) working together on this extension project.
