A consulting firm in Brussels is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead project delivery from inception to completion. The role entails defining project scope and goals, managing budgets, and ensuring all deliverables meet quality standards. Ideal candidates will have over 5 years of project management experience, a relevant certification, and proficiency in Dutch or French, along with English. Knowledge of Agile methodologies is a plus. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on public sector projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years relevant experience with project management.
• Knowledge of Agile delivery methodology and SAFe (Essentials) are considered an asset.
• Qualifications in PM², PMBOK, or Prince2 preferred.

Location: Brussels

Must have legal authorization to work in Belgium

Key responsibilities

Lead project delivery from beginning to end;

Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with management and stakeholders;

Define/follow up on KPI that measure business value creation of the project deliverables

Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents following the company’s standard;

Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary as per defined process;

Ensure that project meets its deliverables in agreed schedule, as per the scope, within stipulated budget and as per the quality standards;

Effectively communicate project expectations to team lead and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion;

Ensures project or service scope and deliverables are defined and agreed with all relevant parties;

Knowledge and Skills

5 + years relevant experience with project management

Strong affinity with IT and its complexity

Experience within public sector will be considered an asset

Experience with e-commerce solutions will be considered an asset

Experience within the public transport domain will be considered an asset

Knowledge of Agile Project Management is considered an asset.

Can facilitate Steerco, project update meetings and guide resources.

Possesses the ability to communicate, present and produce documentation on various levels for differing audiences

Proficient in Dutch or French, and English.
