Keystone Solutions in Brussels is seeking an experienced IT Full-stack Developer to join client projects on-site. You will contribute both backend (Java/Spring) and frontend (React) work, delivering high-quality, scalable applications.

The role requires 6+ years of experience, strong software craftsmanship, and expertise in APIs, CI/CD, and testing. A collaborative, Agile mindset is essential for success in diverse client environments.

Qualifications

• English proficiency required; French or Dutch a plus.
• Bachelor or Master in CS or equivalent by experience.
• 6+ years of relevant experience and Agile mindset.
• Strong knowledge of React, Java, Spring, Maven, APIs, Git, CI/CD, SAST, Docker.
• Experience with API automation testing and Scrum is preferable.
• Demonstrated ability to write clean, testable code with TDD practices.

Mission Overview

The IT Full-stack Developer role is a consultancy mission at a client site, representing Keystone Solutions. As a Keystone Solutions consultant, you will be hired to work on client projects, bringing your expertise to dynamic environments.

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements into high quality code.
• Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable applications, including backend (Java and Spring Framework) and frontend (React).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ship new features.
• Work with outside data sources and APIs.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
• Apply development best practices to ensure code quality.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Be involved in Ops activities (set up of CI/CD pipelines).

Requirements

• Sound knowledge of English (knowledge of French or Dutch is a plus).
• Bachelor/Master or equivalent by experience.
• Agile mindset: positive attitude, pragmatism, thirst for knowledge, focus on team success, continuous improvement, cross-functional contribution.
• At least 6 years of relevant experience.
• Technical experience: Software Craftsmanship, clean code principles, OO principles, DDD, design patterns, SOLID, readable code, refactoring, Test Driven Development, willingness to pair.
• Technical skills: Proven knowledge of React, Java, Spring, Maven, DB, Restful APIs with swagger (yaml), Git, Continuous Integration/Deployment (Jenkins or alternative), SAST (SonarQube, Fortify, NexusIQ or alternative), Docker, Container, Groovy.
• Participation in API automation testing.
• Business experience: practical experience with Scrum is preferable.
• Soft skills: knowledge sharing, improvement suggestions, adaptability, collaboration, feedback, challenging requirements based on expertise.
