Sia, a global management consulting group, seeks an IT/Business Analyst in Belgium to drive digital transformation for clients. You will engage project teams and stakeholders to understand, document, and meet business requirements, and translate BRD into functional specifications.

The ideal candidate holds a Master in Civil or Business Engineering, has 1–3 years consulting experience, and demonstrates strong communication, autonomy, and a keen interest in data and AI.

Job Description

We are a dynamic and innovative consulting company seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a IT/ Business Analyst. You will play among others a pivotal role in driving digital transformation initiatives for our esteemed clients. • Drive work within project teams and with a variety of business stakeholders to ensure that all business requirements are understood, documented, and met
• Using Business Analyst industry tools & techniques, document information needs and functional requirements
• Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customer and technology stakeholders
• Research, analyze, recommend, and participate in the deployment of solutions
• Provide exceptional client delivery, exceed client expectations
• Engage in activities dedicated to support our culture
• Ability to drive data, metrics, and a structured approach to identifying clients’ problems and developing solutions
• Ability to solve broad business or technology problems by using principles derived from a deep understanding of disparate and complex data
• Experience with Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and translation of BRD to functional specifications and traceability matrices
• Experience presenting data-driven analyses based on business benefits to solve highly complex business and technical problems
• Ability to break down complex problems into clear and simple terms
• Ability to systematically consider the implications of problems and solutions in multiple domains at once, and solve problems across all domains

Qualifications

• University Master Civil Engineering or Business Engineering
• 1 to 3 years’ experience as a consultant
• Outstanding collaborative team player and good communication skills
• Strong interest in Energy field.
• Technical skills: SQL, Python, and other relevant tools
• Analytical mind, exploring options and able to synthesize into conclusions
• Autonomous, dynamic, result oriented, rigorous and committed
• You have a strong interest in data and AI-related topics, the ability to quickly build expertise in these areas, and you’re excited about helping our clients seize the opportunities they offer.
• Languages: Trilingual French, Dutch and English.
• Prepared to participate in temporary assignments abroad (e.g. France, The Netherlands, Luxembourg, …)
