Sia, a global management consulting group, seeks a Data Science consultant to join transformation projects for clients worldwide. You will work on modelling, data analysis and partial coding within business and IT contexts, contributing to innovative solutions.

Ideal candidates have a Master in Civil Engineering or related field, up to 3 years of consulting experience, and strong teamwork, communication, and language skills in French, Dutch and English. International assignments may be required.

Qualifications

• Master degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 0 to 3 years’ experience as a consultant.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Interest in data science and AI topics.
• Ability to quickly build expertise and help clients seize opportunities.

• Trilingual: French, Dutch and English.
• Willing to participate in temporary assignments abroad.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to transformation projects with modelling and digital transformation (business/IT analysis and partial coding).
• Engage in machine learning, AI, statistics, and data processing tasks.
• Assist in the design of constraint optimization and simulation models.

Job Description

As a consultant in Data Science, you will be involved in transformation projects at our clients. You will execute project assignments in modelling and digital transformation (business/IT analysis and partial coding) environments with a good deal of business perspectives:

• Machine learning, AI and statistics: developing predictive models of decision making (supervised and unsupervised learning algorithms, econometrics, forecasting, quantitative diagnosis,...)
• Operational research : assistance in the design and implementation of constraint optimization solutions and simulation models
• Big Data : Algorithmic knowledge for large and unstructured data processing

Qualifications

• University Master Civil Engineer (applied mathematics, IT or similar)
• 0 to 3 years’ experience as a consultant
• Outstanding team player with great interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong interest in data science and related sectors such as Energy and Finance
• You have a strong interest in data and AI-related topics, the ability to quickly build expertise in these areas, and you’re excited about helping our clients seize the opportunities they offer.
• Analytical mind, exploring options and able to synthesize into conclusions
• Dynamic, result oriented, rigorous and committed
• Trilingual: French, Dutch and English
