A telecom solutions provider in Antwerp is seeking an IP NPI Network Design & Virtualization Engineer to specialize in various solutions and manage technical deliverables for international clients. Ideal candidates should possess a Master’s degree in Engineering or relevant experience in the telecom industry, with skills in network design, automation, and troubleshooting. Qualifications

• Master's in Engineering or 3-5 years of experience in telecom with IP technologies.
• Knowledgeable on industry operation systems and scripting techniques.
• Hands-on experience in configuring and troubleshooting environments.
• Familiarity with Linux, scripting and programming languages.

Responsabilités

• Capture technical use cases for various customers.
• Support customers during short international business travels.
• Produce High and Low-Level Network Design solutions.
• Document Acceptance Test Plans and procedures.
• Apply automation techniques for quality and efficiency.
• Document Acceptance Test Plans and Method of Procedure descriptions.

• Present technical workshops to internal Nokia and external customers.

IP NPI Network Design & Virtualization Engineer

The team you'll be part of: We are an international team of about 20 Engineers located across North Europe (Benelux, Nordics & Baltics). Our team is involved in all major accounts in the region to secure the technical deliverables in a growing and challenging business segment.

We are mostly engaged in the Post-Sales delivery of the project doing Network/Solution Design, Validation & Acceptance, Integration and Migration for IP solutions. Team is involved in various solutions, such as IP Routing, IP Anyhaul, Virtualization, Data Center Fabrics & Carrier SDN Management solutions.

As NPI engineer, you’ll become a specialist in various solutions, providing all expertise in Proof-of-Concepts & Customer Technical Workshops, while looking after Technical Project Deliverables in Professional Service projects.

• Support customers doing short international business travels, sometimes at short notice.

Requirements:

• A Master's in Engineering OR 3-5 years of experience in the telecom industry, dealing with IP technologies.
• Knowledgeable on industry Operation Systems, Scripting and Master programming languages and techniques.
• Hands-on experiences for configuring & troubleshooting environments.
• Eligible for Personal Security Clearance, level Secret.

Nice to have:

• Experience with networking protocols (BGP/MPLS/etc), VPNs, QoS, Multicast, Security, etc.
• Experience deploying KVM, Kubernetes, VMWare, Containers
• Experience with Linux and Python.
• Nokia SRA, Cisco CCIE, Juniper JNCIE or equivalent Certification are a plus.
