Athora Belgium's Investment Office seeks an Investment Analyst to support execution of the investment strategy and portfolio oversight. You will engage with key financial centers like London, New York and Zurich and help balance return objectives, risk, and regulatory requirements.

You will work with internal teams and external asset managers to optimise processes, update reporting, and translate market insights into strategic recommendations.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Investment Management or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in investment banking, institutional investing, portfolio management or a related environment.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products and derivatives.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a plus.
• Willing to pursue CFA, CAIA, VBA or equivalent certification.

Responsabilités

• Preparing investment analyses, recommendations and presentations for management and ALCO.
• Monitoring portfolio performance, risk metrics and compliance with mandates and asset allocation.
• Supporting portfolio construction, asset allocation reviews and scenario analyses.
• Conducting qualitative and quantitative due diligence on funds, strategies and asset managers.
• Monitoring markets and translating findings into actionable investment insights.
• Assisting ALM analyses to align investment strategy with insurance liabilities.
• Collaborating with Risk, Finance, Actuarial, Legal and Operations teams.
