Job summary

Neurho Solutions in Belgium seeks an InterSystems IRIS Database Administrator/Engineer to design and run a critical database environment, modernise information systems, and ensure security, reliability and continuity.

You will design, implement and document database components, run health checks, patch management, and automate deployments with GitLab CI/CD and Ansible while supporting Python backend development and other databases as needed.

Qualifications

We are looking for an InterSystems IRIS Database Administrator / Engineer to design and run a critical database environment. You will help modernise information systems while maintaining their security, reliability and continuity, working with a multidisciplinary team on operations, integration and performance.

Your role

• Design, implement, test and document database components and solutions.
• Run health checks, monitoring and patch management, and configure journaling, mirroring and failover tests.
• Model globals and SQL tables and configure IRIS integration components.
• Improve performance and scalability through index analysis, query tuning, ECP cache servers and sharding.
