EASI in Belgium is seeking a SOC Analyst intern passionate about cybersecurity. As an intern, you'll actively contribute to securing client environments, working alongside experienced analysts.

This role offers the chance to develop your own impactful project, enhancing both your soft skills and IT knowledge. Candidates should be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science and be fluent in Dutch and/or French.

Qualifications

Responsabilités

• Contribute to the SOC team and support daily security operations.
• Provide technical support for SOC and SIEM solutions.
• Analyze unresolved incidents across client environments.
• Create and update Indicators of Compromise (IoCs).
• Evaluate and develop remediation actions.
• Analyze and collect data (e.g. running processes, behavioral patterns).
• Evaluate and develop remediation actions.
• Occasionally assist during security incidents.

As a SOC Analyst intern, you will be fully immersed in our team and actively contribute to securing various client environments. You will work closely with experienced analysts and regularly interact with customers, giving you a realistic and complete view of life at Easi.

In addition to your contribution to the team, you will have the opportunity to develop your own project (for example as a thesis), allowing you to build your skills while making a real impact on our SOC operations.

During your internship, you will:

• Actively contribute to the SOC team and support daily security operations
• Provide technical support for the implementation and operation of SOC and SIEM solutions (IDR, XDR, NDR, ISR, Endpoint Protection)
• Analyze and follow up on unresolved incidents across different client environments (Incident Response)
• Perform additional checks within client environments (Threat Intelligence)
• Create or update Indicators of Compromise (IoCs)
• Analyze and collect data (e.g. running processes, behavioral patterns)
• Evaluate and develop remediation actions
• Occasionally assist during security incidents

In addition, you will work on your own cybersecurity project, aligned with your interests and studies;

Must-have:

• Completing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science (preferably with a cybersecurity focus)
• Fluent in Dutch and/or French (C2 level) and professional English
• A critical thinker with a strong eye for detail
• Resilient under pressure and stress

• A team player open to feedback and continuous improvement
• A true passion for IT and cybersecurity (beyond just “finding it interesting”)

Nice to have:

• Experience with or knowledge of: PowerShell, Python, SIEM/EDR/XDR/NDR, or other security tools
• Understanding of offensive security/pentest techniques (TryHackMe, Hack The Box, CTFs, etc.)
• Interest in malware analysis or reverse engineering
• Possession of relevant cybersecurity certificates
