Barco in Kortrijk, Belgium seeks an intern to improve engineering productivity across the software lifecycle by blending agentic AI and automation. You will tackle real pain points in story refinement, builds, and release verification with measurable impact.

You'll shape the direction, choose tools and architecture, and test ideas with real users and workflows. Strong Python or TypeScript skills and English fluency are required for collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in Kortrijk, Belgium.
• Available for a minimum of 6 months.
• Student in Computer Science, AI, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong programming skills (Python or TypeScript preferred).
• Fluent English (spoken and written).
• Solid understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, and multi-agent concepts.

Responsabilités

• Needs analysis — Map the current Jira workflow and release process.
• Agent design & integration — Design a multi-agent system for refinement and guidance.
• Release & validation acceleration — Analyze build and validation bottlenecks across repositories.
• Test automation — Convert manual test plans into automated checks.
• Measurement & adoption — Define success metrics and drive adoption.
