Vivid Resourcing seeks an Interim Business Controller for Transport & Logistics in West Flanders, Belgium. This freelance, short‑term assignment is hybrid and starts ASAP. The role focuses on shaping financial plans, pricing, and investments within a transformed transport operation.

You will deliver data-driven financial insight, support commercial decisions, and drive profitability across customer contracts and fleet usage. Dutch language preferred for collaboration.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Business Controlling in asset-intensive environments.
• Strong cost-price calculations, profitability analysis and margin management.
• Deep understanding of transport cost structures and vehicle profitability drivers.
• Hands-on with data; able to extract, analyse and structure information from systems.
• Proficient in Excel/Power BI for dashboards and reports.
• Experience in change, restructuring or transformation programmes.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain the financial plan for the upcoming financial year.
• Build rolling forecasts and monitor performance vs budget.
• Assess profitability of contracts and business cases; provide recommendations.
• Support the wider transformation programme with financial insights.
• Maintain cost-price models for transport operations and review pricing proposals.
• Produce daily/weekly/monthly dashboards and management reports.
