Then this is your next assignment.At **Bebat**, we are looking for an **Integration Transition Architect** to map our integration environment from A to Z, develop a forward-looking architecture and guide its implementation — from a position of independence and strong content expertise.**What will you do?*****Phase 1 – Understanding the current environment (AS-IS)******Phase 2 – Forward-looking architecture & partner selection (TO-BE)******Phase 3 – Implementation & transition guidance***### Who are you?* You have at least 10 years of experience in integration architecture, preferably including legacy transition or migration assignments.* You have demonstrable experience analysing and documenting complex, organically grown systems — including environments with limited documentation.* You have a solid understanding of integration patterns and can quickly gain insight into existing systems and dependencies.* You are able to translate technical insights clearly for a range of stakeholders — from developers to management.* You have experience drafting technical specifications and guiding vendor selection processes.* You are willing to critically challenge decisions and proposals from partners and to redirect where necessary.* You are fully platform-agnostic — with no commercial ties to specific solutions or vendors.* You combine analytical depth with pragmatism, can work in a context where priorities evolve, and can provide direction even without complete certainty.* You have an affinity with broader enterprise architecture — this is a requirement, not a bonus.* You are fluent in Dutch and English.### Practical information* **Type of assignment:** freelance* **Commitment:** 3 to 5 days per week* **Duration:** 12 months* **Start:** August/September* **Location:** hybrid, with regular presence at the office in Tienen
