Jobtailor is seeking a QA Engineer to design and execute testing for mobile apps within a multi-component system. You will drive automated and manual tests, collaborate with developers and product owners, and ensure integration across front-end, APIs and databases.

Strong automation, API testing and Agile experience are essential. Applicants should have a MSc/BSc in CS or related field, 2+ years in testing, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• BSc/MSc in Computer Science or related field.
• 2+ years in software testing with test automation experience.
• Experience testing mobile apps on production-grade systems.
• Experience with multi-component systems integration testing.
• Strong knowledge of Java, or JavaScript or Python.
• Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or Newman.
• Experience with Git, JIRA and defect tracking; Agile experience.
• Fluency in English; team-oriented, curious and proactive.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsabilités

• Design, drive and execute software testing tasks with proper planning and descriptions based on requirements.
• Conduct integration testing of mobile app components, APIs, DBs and third-party integrations.
• Incorporate hardware components into integration testing (vehicles, chargers, smart cables).
• Implement and maintain automated integration tests for efficiency and repeatability.
• Execute manual test scenarios for new features and bug fixes.
• Identify, diagnose and resolve integration issues with Dev and QA teams.
• Collaborate with BAs and POs to define well-structured, testable user stories.
• Perform performance and scalability testing of integrated components.
• Track test progress, report test coverage and issues to stakeholders.
• Promote continuous improvement with new methodologies, tools and technologies.
