Job summary

i8c Belgium is seeking an Integration and Automation Engineer to design, build, and maintain enterprise integrations. You will work with clients to streamline processes, select appropriate iPaaS solutions, and implement robust automation across systems.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, translate requirements into technical specs, and drive API management, data integration, and architecture initiatives. A strong background in integration patterns and cloud platforms is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with leading integration/iPaaS platforms (Workato, Boomi, MuleSoft).
• Knowledge of APIs REST, SOAP, GraphQL and messaging (JMS, AMQP, Kafka).
• Track record integrating large enterprise IT systems (SAP, Dynamics, NetSuite, Salesforce).
• Experience in one or more cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Fluent in English; Dutch and/or French a plus.

• Model and optimize business processes with analysts to translate requirements into automated workflows.

As an Integration and Automation Engineer, you'll be the technical powerhouse behind our client projects. Your responsibility will be to design, build and maintain integrations that enable enterprise systems to communicate efficiently, securely, and at scale. You'll also collaborate with multiple stakeholders to streamline and automate business processes.

What will you be doing?

You primary focus will be designing and implementing robust integration solutions, but your role extends beyond coding. You will also work closely with business stakeholders to align on process requirements and design business automation solutions.

• Design, develop, and test complex integration scenarios using leading iPaaS platforms and resilient integration patterns.
• Model and optimize business processes, working with business analysts to translate requirements into automated workflows.
• Lead integration-centered projects and architectures, including API Management, Data Integration, Application Integration, EDA, and B2B Integration.
• Work with a diverse range of clients, including public sector organizations and international enterprises. Always taking a pragmatic approach.
• Grow as an expert by focusing on knowledge, absorbing the experience from peers, and actively contributing to the i8c community.
