Visser & Van Baars in Brussels is seeking a Data Migration Specialist with proven experience in the insurance sector. You will combine your technical expertise in data migration, SQL and ETL with hands-on insurance data knowledge to migrate legacy data to modern platforms.

You will bridge technology and business, define source-to-target mappings, design ETL processes, validate data quality and collaborate with stakeholders across IT and business to deliver complex migrations for insurance

Qualifications

Proven professional experience within the insurance sector.
Experience with data migration, data integration or ETL.
Strong knowledge of SQL.
Experience with data mapping, transformation and validation.
Good understanding of insurance data, processes and business models.
Fluency in English; Dutch or French preferred.

Responsabilités

Analyse data from legacy insurance systems.
Define and document mappings between source and target systems.
Design and implement ETL processes for data migration.
Use SQL for data analysis, transformation and validation.
Monitor data quality before, during and after migrations.
Identify and resolve data inconsistencies and discrepancies.
Translate insurance business requirements and business rules into technical solutions.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers and technical teams.
Support testing, reconciliation and validation of migrated data.
Document data mappings, transformations and migration processes.
Contribute to different data migration and transformation projects within the insurance sector.
