Job summary

Accenture’s Industry & Enterprise Insurance team in Belgium is looking for an Insurance Management Consultant to drive strategic, operational, and technology-enabled transformation programs for insurers across Belgium and Europe.

The role focuses on Employee Benefits (Group Insurance) and requires experience in pensions, group life, disability, and related operations. You’ll lead workshops, develop business cases, and coach junior colleagues while contributing to business development.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business Engineering, Economics, Finance, Actuarial Sciences, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in consulting, insurance, project management, business transformation, process improvement, digital transformation, or a related field.
• Experience and/or strong knowledge of Employee Benefits (Group Insurance) products, processes, and market dynamics.
• Understanding of insurance operating models, distribution channels, and core business processes.
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders in complex transformation environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and structured thinking skills.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation abilities.
• Strong client-facing mindset and ability to build trusted relationships.
• Fluent in English and either Dutch or French.
• A proactive, entrepreneurial, and team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate client workshops, stakeholder interviews, and working sessions with business and technology teams.
• Develop executive-level presentations, business cases, and recommendations for senior client stakeholders.
• Support proposal development, RFP responses, and business development activities.
• Coach and mentor analysts and junior consultants within the team.
• Stay up to date on insurance market trends, regulatory developments, and emerging technologies.
• Contribute to thought leadership and capability development within Accenture’s Insurance practice.

As an Insurance Management Consultant, you will work with leading insurance clients on strategic, operational, and technology-driven transformation programs. You will support organizations in improving performance, enhancing customer and broker experiences, modernizing operations, and unlocking the value of digital technologies and data.

A particular focus of this role is Employee Benefits (Group Insurance). We are looking for professionals who have gained experience and/or developed expertise within the Employee Benefits ecosystem, including areas such as pensions, group life insurance, disability coverage, and Employee Benefits operations.

You will be part of a dynamic consulting team delivering impactful projects from strategy through execution. Besides contributing to client engagements, you will play an active role in business development, internal capability building, and coaching more junior colleagues.
