afarax is looking for a freelance Initiative owner for the Fraud Cluster to drive complex initiatives within a banking context.

You will work with architects, risk and IT colleagues, lead ceremonies, manage budgets and KPIs, and ensure agile delivery that aligns with business goals and timelines.

Qualifications

• 10 years of professional experience with 5+ years in managing programs and projects
• Master’s degree required
• Fluent in Dutch and French
• Mandatory: Agile, Prince2, ITIL, ADKAR frameworks
• Banking/fraud domain experience preferred
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Responsabilités

The project:

Our client in the Banking sector, is seeking an experienced Initiative owner - Fraud Cluster.

The main accountabilities of the i.O. are :

• Structure and steers the initiative(s) in line with the Agile practices used at.
• Elaborates on the initiative :
• Prepares and manages the different 'ceremonies' linked to the Initiative owner role.
• Manage the positioning and monitoring of the Initiative together with the impacted stakeholders
• Makes sure all stakeholders needs are known and covered (BNP group instances, Business instances, ... ).
• Understands, clarify and formalize the purpose of the initiative.
• Define and prioritize the different OPUSES related to his/her initiative(s) in a validated delivery roadmap.
• Elaborates on the value and determine initiative KPI’s.

• Collaborates with the different stakeholders and contributors
• Close collaboration with the CPO (Cluster Product Owner)
• Support to PO's/OO's during ideation and refinement.
• Close collaboration with all contributing constructs/squads and facilitators (squads, architects, security architects, regulatory and risk instances, IT colleagues.. ), ensuring shared knowledge and understanding across impacted constructs.
• Manage the end-to-end monitoring (scope, quality, budget, timing, KPI's, risks...) of the different opus developments until the go to market
• Documents, and initiates budget requests (SAP) for her/his initiatives, monitors budget use.
• Ensures transparent, professional and persuasive communication with middle and senior management (C-level)

Is this you?

• Fluent in Dutch, French and Mandatory
• Master’s degree
• Mandatory: Program/project management and change management frameworks (e.g. AGILE,Prince2, ITIL, ADKAR). “Agile” is the methodology currently usedc
• 10 years of professional experience, and 5+ years of relevant experience in managing programs and projects taking into account strategy, priorities, time, budget and dependency constraints while keeping business/customer interests central in the way solutions are conceived and put in production (change).
• Technical and functional understanding to be at ease in interactions with architects, developers, experts…
• Experience in program / project management
• Solid analytical skills; ability to break-down complex issues into their key components; strong deductive reasoning; ability to draw conclusions from a combination of evidence and assumptions.
• Ability to collaborate, influence.
• Strong stakeholder management and Customer centricity
• Familiar with fraud processes in a banking environment
• Bank or large corporate experience
