afarax is seeking a freelance Enterprise Architect for a banking client to define and maintain the Enterprise Information Architecture and IT project architecture. The role focuses on mapping IT assets, translating business strategy into architectural changes, and advising on new technologies to keep pace with market standards.

You will design solutions within milestones and budgets, ensure integration with project management and development methods, and certify proposed architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master degree or equivalent
• Architecture certifications (PM cert nice to have)
• French and English proficiency
• 5 years in Banking domain and Architecture
• Banking domain knowledge and customer references preferred
• General knowledge of financial services
• Agile delivery experience
• API architecture
• Data architecture

Responsabilités

• Define and maintain Enterprise Information Architecture and IT project architecture
• Define and maintain IT-asset cartography (as-is and to-be)
• Translate business strategy into architectural changes
• Advise on adoption of new technologies to align with market
• Support integration of architectural methodology with project management and IT development
• Translate functional requests into technical models considering standards
• Design solutions respecting milestones, budgets, and constraints
• Follow up on realization, document deviations, feed Reference Architecture
• Perform certifications and homologations of proposed architectures
• Ensure compliance with norms and standards

The project:

Our client in the banking sector is looking for a Enterprise Architect to join their team.

Functional description:

• Define and maintain (parts of) the Enterprise Information Architecture, design architecture for IT Projects.
• Define and maintain the cartography of the IT-assets (as-is and to-be)
• Translate Business strategy and new objectives into (changes in) the Architecture.
• Advise on the adoption of new technologies and concepts to keep architecture in line with market and available technologies.
• Support on ensuring integration of the architectural methodology and other procedures in place, including project management and IT development methods.
• Translate Functional Requests in Technical Model taking into account Functional Reference Model and Technical standards and constraints.
• Design solutions, which respect projects milestones and budgets while making the current architecture evolving towards the target one as well as respecting Infrastructure and Security constraints.
• Do the follow-up of the realization; document and report noticed implementation deviations in order to feed Reference Architecture and suggest eventual realignments with the target.
• Perform certifications and homologations of solution architectures proposed that impact the domain.
• Guarantee norms and standards are followed.

Is this you?

• Bachelor/Master or equivalent by experience
• Architecture certifications (Project Management certification is a nice to have)
• Good in French and English
• 5 years in Banking domain and Architecture
• Banking domain and if possible Customers referentials
