ABAKUS IT-SOLUTIONS is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer to join a multidisciplinary team driving the transformation of a complex application ecosystem. The project aims to reduce legacy dependencies by evolving data and services into a modern, secure, scalable, and open architecture.

The role involves designing, developing, and evolving applications, APIs, and web services, with emphasis on REST APIs, data exchange, and architecture. Brussels-based, hybrid work with on-site coordination.

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer to join a multidisciplinary team involved in the transformation of a complex application ecosystem.

The objective of the project is to gradually reduce dependency on legacy/mainframe systems by evolving existing data and services towards a modern, secure, scalable and open architecture.

This transformation will make data more easily accessible to various business applications, search platforms, analytics solutions, artificial intelligence systems and decision-support tools.

Your Mission

As a Senior Full-Stack Developer, you will actively contribute to the design, development and evolution of applications, APIs and web services at the heart of this transformation.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Analyzing technical requirements and contributing to the definition of solutions;
• Designing and developing REST APIs and data exchange services;
• Developing and enhancing web applications and application components;
• Contributing to the definition and evolution of the software architecture;
• Integrating different applications and data sources within a modern and interoperable environment;
• Enhancing existing strategic solutions and contributing to the integration of new functionalities;
• Contributing to initiatives related to data analytics, artificial intelligence and Intelligence-Led Policing (ILP);
• Working closely with development, architecture, DevOps and business teams;
• Ensuring the performance, security, quality and maintainability of the solutions developed;
• Contributing to automated testing and the continuous improvement of development and delivery processes.
