This program offers a unique opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in one of four key departments: Corporate Finance/M&A, Debt Capital Markets, Loan Sales, or Corporate Investments.
As an intern, you will be directly involved in key initiatives and the execution of live deals, working alongside experienced professionals and contributing to significant financial transactions.
Under the guidance of a senior advisor, you will engage with key decision‑makers at medium and large companies, financial sponsors, and external advisors. Your role includes drafting tailored pitches, conducting industry analysis, reviewing company strategies, and crafting strategic recommendations. You will also gather and analyse data on potential acquisition opportunities, preparing documentation such as information memoranda, valuation reports, and transaction letters. Participation in data‑room preparation, due diligence, and legal documentation follow‑up will be part of your responsibilities. Fluency in English and Dutch, both written and spoken, is essential.
You will develop expertise in bond structures, pricing, and market execution, as well as the primary and secondary markets, interest rates, and swaps. Responsibilities include preparing investor presentations, structuring deal terms, advising clients on bond transactions, and producing market and pricing updates. You will conduct analyses, identify comparables, and collaborate with other teams on new opportunities and product education.
In this role you will support the syndication process, prepare pitches, conduct liquidity analyses, compile league tables, and create market reports. You will work with global loan investor markets and support primary and secondary loan sales across various sectors. Strong Excel skills (Python a plus) and clear communication are required.
Assisting in origination and the investment process, you will engage with SMEs, analyse financials, and manage the private‑equity portfolio under the supervision of Investment Directors. This role sharpens analytical skills and deepens financial expertise in a dynamic environment.
