Job summary

Rhox in Belgium is seeking a senior infrastructure and network architect to design resilient web application hosting and security solutions. You will analyse application flows and production incidents across WebSphere and cloud environments.

You will document workflows, validate designs with security and DevOps teams, maintain reference architectures, and look for resource savings.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of enterprise infrastructure architecture experience.
• Expertise in WebSphere, Kubernetes, IIS, Tomcat and HTTP.
• Strong knowledge of cloud environments and security standards.

• Validate designs with security, network, DevOps and development specialists.
• Maintain reusable reference architectures for web hosting and security.
• Recommend resource savings, consolidation and structured retirement of redundant components.

What you bring

• At least five years of enterprise infrastructure architecture experience.
• Web Application Hosting knowledge: WebSphere, Kubernetes, IIS, Tomcat and HTTP.
• Web Security knowledge: ISVA, F5 WAF, API GW, HSM, oAuth2 and TLS.
• Experience in cloud environments.
• Understanding of bank-related business processes and their business impact.
• Experience with Agile methodology.
• A master's degree or equivalent experience.
• French or Dutch, B2.
• English, C1.
• Analytical, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work independently.

Nice to have

• Deep technical knowledge of at least two listed technologies.
• Experience with Detailed Technical Design (DTD) and Operational Process Architecture Documents (OPAD).
• APM tooling, log analysis, performance benchmarking and capacity planning.
• IaaS/PaaS, performance tuning, flow optimisation and incident troubleshooting.
• Resource right-sizing and licence optimisation.
• TOGAF, ITIL or Agile certifications.
